Jibiyar personal accounting software
Say what you spent in one sentence. Jibiyar does the rest.
The download is free, and your first month is fully free with no payment.
The problem with personal accounting is rarely knowing what to do — it is the patience to log things. Every app asks you to open it, type the amount, pick a category and hit save, and by week three you have stopped. Jibiyar removes that one obstacle: say "a hundred thousand tomans on bread" and the transaction is created and categorized for you. Personal accounting only works when it happens every day, and it only happens every day when it takes seconds.
What is personal accounting?
Personal accounting means regularly recording your own (or your household's) income and spending, sorting it into categories, and reviewing the result — so that you know where your money goes instead of guessing. Unlike business accounting there are no journals, ledgers or balance sheets. Three things are enough: how much, what for, and when.
Those three columns build a picture you cannot reach without recording anything: what food really costs you each month, which small purchases add up, and which months quietly run higher than the rest. The difference between people who track and people who don't is usually not income — it is simply seeing it.
How Jibiyar works
There are three steps between spending and a logged transaction, and all of them are automatic:
- 1You say itAn ordinary sentence, the way you would say it to a person. "Two hundred on a taxi yesterday" works fine.
- 2It is understoodThe amount, the subject and the time are pulled out of the sentence, by a model built for everyday Persian and the currency units people actually use.
- 3It is categorizedBread goes to Food and the taxi to Transport, with nothing to set up first. Correct a category once and it picks the same one next time.
How Jibiyar helps you
Everyday money tools — without selling your data.
Notebook, spreadsheet or app?
All three work, and none of them is inherently wrong. What differs is where each one breaks down:
| Paper notebook | Spreadsheet on a PC | Phone app | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logging at the moment of purchase | Only if you carry it | No — you must remember until you reach the computer | Yes, your phone is always with you |
| Time per expense | About half a minute | Half a minute, plus opening the file | A few seconds with one spoken sentence |
| Categorizing and totalling | By hand | With formulas you have to build once | Automatic |
| Monthly reports and charts | None | Yes, if you put the time in | Ready made |
| Risk of losing it | Lost or ruined | A corrupt file or a forgotten backup | Synced to your account |
The point that matters: a method that captures an expense at the moment it happens almost always beats one that defers it to the weekend — because by the weekend half the small purchases are gone from memory. Jibiyar is built on that single observation.
What it costs
Downloading and installing Jibiyar is free, and your first month is fully free with every feature and no payment. After that you continue on a subscription.
The price depends on the term you choose; longer terms cost less per month. Current rates are always on the pricing page.
Where your financial data stays
Category detection runs on your own device, and the text of your voice never leaves the phone. The only data that reaches the server is the transactions themselves — encrypted, and only to sync between your own devices.
Your financial data is never sold for advertising. You can export CSV or JSON, or delete your account, whenever you want.
Installing on Android
Jibiyar is currently released for Android only — download the APK directly from the site or install it from Cafe Bazaar. Google Play and App Store releases are not out yet and will be announced when they are ready.
Common questions about personal accounting
- Which personal accounting app is best?
- The best one is the one you actually keep using. In practice three things decide it: how many seconds it takes to log an expense, whether categorizing is automatic, and whether you can export your data. Flashy features you abandon in month two are worth nothing.
- Is Jibiyar free?
- Downloading and installing it is free, and your first month is fully free with no payment. After that you need a subscription to continue; the price depends on the term and is listed on the pricing page.
- What devices does it run on?
- Android only for now, via a direct APK download or an install from Cafe Bazaar. Windows, iOS and web versions are not out yet.
- Does it work without an internet connection?
- Logging and categorizing happen on the device itself, so day-to-day use does not need a constant connection. The internet is needed to sync between your own devices.
- How is personal accounting different from business accounting?
- Business accounting exists to report to other people — journals, ledgers, balance sheets, tax returns. Personal accounting is only for you, and comes down to the same three columns: amount, subject, date. Using business accounting software for household spending usually makes the job needlessly heavy.
- Where should I start?
- Start by recording, not by budgeting. For two weeks just log every expense without trying to cut anything. After two weeks you will be looking at your own real numbers, and only then does budgeting mean anything.
- If I change phones, do I lose my data?
- No. Sign in on the new device and your transactions sync down. CSV and JSON exports are also always available inside the app.
